Description:
Adolf Loos in his famous work „Ornament and Crime“ made the argument that the urge to ornaments one face and everything that lies in hand are the primal origins of visual arts, and that he who does that in modern times is a criminal. Loos thus argued that for Modern man, the product of years of evolution, has outgrown the use of ornaments. But nothing is less true than that, and we have come to realise that man, even after thousand years of evolution, is still not perfect. Especially in times of ecological crisis we come to realise that we need to redefine what Human nature looks like. It is in this redefinition that we understand that what human nature is already contained in the name itself, that is, nature.
