Description:
The Design is a modular research station in the Zwin, a border region between Belgium and the Netherlands. It studies the invisible interactions between anthropogenic frequencies and nature. Positioned between a sensitive nature reserve and industrial influences near Bruges, it explores human-environment dynamics. The station consists of three cylindrical, non-anchored modules resting on the Zwin floor. A hydraulic system lowers them onto a floating barge, enabling transport and reconfiguration as needed for research. This adaptability enables the station to be repositioned as required by the research focus.
