Description:
In a world where climate shifts faster than ever, our buildings can’t afford to stand still. The facades we rely on today - static, unchanging - just won’t cut it in a future that demands flexibility and resilience. But what if walls could adapt like a chameleon, transforming their properties to match the environment, or like someone effortlessly slipping a jacket on and off to suit the weather? This idea sparks a bold challenge: rethinking the very nature of facades, imagining a future where buildings respond dynamically to the world around them, redefining what it means to adapt to a changing planet. Accordingly, the façade must adjust its U-value, its heat absorption as well as its permeability.
